Golf Enjoys Third Straight Stellar Season on The PGA Tour
The professional golf season is officially
over and the final stages of Q-school are about to begin.
The report cards for the 2006 PGA Tour are now in, and for
the 3rd straight year, Nickent Golf was at the top of the
class.
“What happened this year was very special,”
said Nickent CEO Michael Lee. “It was all about our
hybrid helping the best players in the world realize their
dreams of winning and giving their best possible performances.
Hybrid usage exploded in 2006 and everyone was placing a
huge emphasis on the category. We showed this year that
hybrids are all about performance. I would like to thank
all those players who put us in play. Their undying faith
in our product is something I am very proud of.”
In the last three years, Nickent Golf has become a phenomenon
on the world’s professional tours. Showing up on the
range out of obscurity, Nickent’s line of 3DX hybrids
quickly became the # 1 most played hybrid on the Nationwide
Tour. Since that time, over 200 players on the PGA Tours
have put their clubs into play.
“2006 proved to be another great year for Nickent
Golf on Tour,” said Nickent Director of Tour Operations
Josh Trivett. “It was a tough year out there with
all of the hybrid pressure, but for us to have more victories
and top ten finishes than the big boys is a truly amazing
feat. It has been so exciting to watch the progress and
growth that we have experienced over the last 3 years on
tour. We started as a bit player, but quickly advanced to
be the #1 Hybrid on the Nationwide Tour, dethroning the
old kings of the past. Now we have the #1 Hybrid in the
world, according the Official World Rankings.”

number of Nickent products in play increasing, it's an even
greater pleasure to see the multitude of players winning
