Nickent’s 3DX
#1 Hybrid on the
PGA Tours U.S. Open Week
The
week of the U.S. Open is one of the biggest weeks in all
of golf. For one company, the thrill of being a major player
in a major week is starting to come to fruition. Nickent
Golf claimed the # 1 position for hybrids in play on the
PGA Tour this U.S. Open week, and had a 2nd place finish
at the Open by the # 3 player on the PGA Tour.
Fifty-three Nickent hybrids were put into play this week
at two events, beating the next closest manufacturers by
over 10 clubs. Three companies have set themselves apart
from the pack on the PGA Tour this year for hybrid usage,
with the rest well behind in the overall club count. Nickent
has set themselves apart from these other two hybrid makers
by defeating them in almost every category of success. Listed
below are just some of the accomplishments Nickent Golf
has racked up in 2006:

and solid chance to win his second U.S. Open. He productively
used his 20-degree Nickent hybrid several times in the final
round, making the 3DX Ironwood the top finishing hybrid
at Winged Foot. Nickent also had another player using their
3DX DC hybrid finish in the Top 15 at the U.S. Open.
