Nickent Golf
Sets Club Count Record with 45 Hybrids in Play!
Another week, another milestone for Nickent Golf on the PGA
Tours. Two weeks ago, Nickent won its third Nationwide Tour
event at the BMW Pro Am at the Cliffs. Last week, Nickent
was in the bag of the #2 player on the PGA TOUR when he won
the Wachovia Championship.
This week, Nickent set a new record for the amount of hybrids
put into play in a PGA TOUR or Nationwide Tour event. At the
Nationwide Tour's Rheem Classic in Arkansas, 45 Nickent hybrids
were in play. That staggering number accounts for 36% of all
hybrids in play at the event.
The swift adoption of the new 3DX DC hybrids by the players
has helped make Nickent the top played hybrid brand on the
Nationwide Tour by a very large margin. The number two ranking
hybrid manufacturer at the event was beaten by 14 golf clubs
and number three was doubled up by Nickent at the Rheem Classic.
"Anytime a company has over 30% of the field playing
your equipment, you know you have a superior product,"
said Nickent Director of Marketing Jon Claffey. "I was
out at the event in Ft. Smith and everywhere you looked was
a green DC head cover. It makes you feel very, very proud
when your little company is battling the largest manufacturers
in the world and coming out on top."
