3DX Ironwood Earns Two Course Records on PGA Tour,
Three Top 10 Finishes on Nationwide
The 3DX by Nickent Golf earned three top 10 finishes at the
Alberta Classic on the Nationwide Tour Sunday, including two
third place finishes. The top performances made for Nickent’s
29th Top 10 of the 2005 season, which consists of 23 events.
Deutsche Bank Championship Notes
The 3DX was a part of two course records at the difficult TPC
of Boston over the long weekend. A German player, who received
a foreign exemption to enter the tournament, tied the course
record on Saturday with a 9-under 62 in just his second PGA
TOUR event.
Another player using a 3DX Ironwood set a course record with
a 28 on the back nine Sunday. He sits 84th on the official 2005
PGA Tour money list.
