Who is the #1 hybrid on Tour?
The 3DX Ironwood by Nickent was the # 1 most
played hybrid for the third straight event on the Nationwide
Tour at the Chattanooga Classic, according to the Darrell Survey.
“The 3DX has clearly established itself as the # 1 most
played hybrid on the Nationwide Tour,” said Nickent CEO
Michael Lee. “We are thrilled to support and to be such
a big part of one of the most talented and prestigious circuits
in the world.”
Twenty-seven 3DX's were in play in Chattanooga, including players
ranging from the Golf Channel's Big Break II winner, 3 players
in the Top 10 of the official money list and a 5-time winner
on the PGA Tour.
The 3DX has ranked as high as the #2 hybrid on the PGA Tour,
debuting at that position at last week’s St. Jude Classic.
In the category of Tour victories, no other hybrid has been
as successful as the 3DX in 2005. The 3DX is the winningest
hybrid on the Nationwide and PGA Tours in 2005 with 3 wins.
The 3DX had 4 total Tour wins in the month of May.
