Nickent's 3DX Wins BMW Championship for 4th Title in 5 Weeks
The winner of the European Tour's flagship event
used a Nickent 3DX Ironwood off the tee and fairway in his two-stroke
victory Sunday.
"It's amazing to have won the second most important tournament
in Europe,” said the BMW champ. "I'm very happy about
that."
The BMW Championship winner used a 17-degree 3DX Ironwood numerous
times throughout the tournament to help him clinch the event
where he had twice been a runner up. The win catapulted the
player to 3rd on the European Tour Order of Merit and 14th in
the world rankings.
The victory gives the 3DX its 4th Tour win in the last 5 weeks.
(The 3DX was also in the bags of European Challenge Tour
winner last weekend at the XX Tessali-Metaponto Open,
the Henrico County Open winner one week ago
on the Nationwide Tour and the Zurich Classic of New
Orleans champion on the PGA Tour.)
The 3DX is the winningest hybrid on the Nationwide and PGA Tours
in 2005 with 3 wins. Only one other hybrid has won on either
Tour this year.

1-2 Punch
The 3DX
hybrid is excelling in Darrell Survey club counts on the PGA
Tours.
For the past two weeks and for 7 of the last
14 events on the Nationwide Tour, the 3DX Ironwood
by Nickent has been the #1 most played hybrid.
On the PGA Tour, the 3DX was the #2
most played hybrid this week at the St. Jude Classic
with 12 clubs in play. The 3DX is the fastest growing hybrid
on the PGA Tour after Nickent put full-time representation on
the PGA Tour this season.
This combination punch has made the 3DX the #2 overall hybrid
on both the PGA and Nationwide Tours combined over the last
month and a half with 193 3DX’s in play.
